What age can my child start?

Pre-Nursery takes children from two and a half years. There is no entrance test at this stage — we meet the child and the parents together.

Is there a half-day option?

Yes. Pre-Nursery and Nursery can be half day, with a full-day option including lunch and supervised rest.

How do you handle a child who needs extra support?

Monastic Spectrum Learning Center works in partnership with the preschool. Screening happens early and support runs alongside the regular class.

Is Monastic School residential?

It is a Higher Secondary English Boarding School with a semi-boarding option: supervised study, meals and transport, with students going home each day.

Which board do you follow?

The national curriculum, with SEE at the end of Grade 10. Practice examinations run through Grades 9 and 10.

What happens after Grade 10?

Students move into Monastic 10+2 on the same school/college system, choosing Science, Management, Law or Education.

Science, Management, Law and Education. Science covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

A pass in SEE. Stream-specific grade requirements and the current fee structure are on the admissions page.

Are scholarships available?

Merit scholarships are awarded on SEE results and reviewed each year. Ask the admissions office for the current criteria.
